06:45    – Early wake-up

07:00    – Starting the day on the treadmill before coffee, watching the sunrise as I work up a sweat

07:45    – "The best pain is champagne": Kicking off the day with fresh fruit and yogurt

08:30    – Reading the news, noting the last days of a struggling government

10:00    – Sauna and sun bathing (without sun)

11:00    – Whale watching: no sightings

12:00    – Bird watching: no sightings either

13:00    – Whale watching by the pool: many sightings, plus a few herrings

14:00    – Afternoon nap

15:00    – Tea time

15:30    – Sauna and sunbathing (still without sun)

16:30    – A good book session

17:00    – Ship watching: seen AIDA or was it a Pirate of the Caribbean Canarias?

18:00    – Preparing for dinner

18:30    – Cocktail hours for R: Pina Colada, Singapore Sling, Mojito ...
             – Mocktail hours for J: water with gas, water without gas ....  

20:00    – Dinner

21:30    – Whale watching on the dance floor: a few sightings

23:00    – Writing the daily blog

00:00    – Good night

11:00 - 11:15     Ice ball pour: It’s a sauna ritual where a ball of ice, often infused with essential oils,
                           is placed on the hot sauna stones to create a burst of steam and release aromatic scents,
                           enhancing the sauna experience.
