Day 11 (7 days at sea): Time Slips Away

Spending seven days at sea has a way of blurring time and space. Finding fresh topics for the blog is becoming a challenge, so I’ll keep this entry short—no wasting your valuable reading time!

Last night, we completely lost track of reality, missing a timezone change and arriving an hour late for dinner. Lesson learned: life at sea doesn’t wait for clocks.

Tomorrow morning at 08:00, we’ll dock in Walvis Bay, Namibia, staying until 13:00 the following day. Preparation for this exciting stopover began yesterday as we filled out arrival and departure forms. Later today, we’ll attend a presentation about Walvis Bay and Swakopmund to help us plan our adventure.

Our current plan? To hire a taxi and explore Swakopmund at our own pace. It should be a memorable day of discovery!

Comments

  1. Walvis Bay and Swakopmund will be exciting. In the bay you really can see whales. In Swakopmund look for the street names: many refer to the German past. You sure will have a lot of material for the next blog.

  2. In der Tat: Swakopmund war sehr interessant. Der Bericht kommt wegen technischer Probleme später
